Mr. Pimentel is a mechanical engineer with 50 years of experience in design, selection and technical-economic evaluation, operation, and maintenance of electric power generation plants, and mechanical power and heat plants with emphasis in Combined Cycle Power Plants. He is a retired university professor in the energy plants area.
Mr. Ibañez has over 38 years of experience in the execution of multidisciplinary projects from the basic engineering phase to commissioning production, refining, petrochemical, gas, electricity generation and transmission, industrial plants, and infrastructure facilities.
Mr. Buffington has had a notable career in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry, particularly tied to his leadership in expanding LNG applications in the Caribbean and Central America. He founded Carib Energy LLC, a Florida-based company, which became a pioneer as the first to secure a small-scale, 25-year LNG export license from the U.S. Department of Energy for transportation from the U.S. to Free Trade Agreement countries. As president of Carib Energy, Buffington leveraged his extensive experience in the international propane gas industry—spanning 42 years—where he also founded EFG Industries, a supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) equipment, engineering, and plant construction.
Mr. Ferguson is President and Founder of Levant Advisors and President of Colina Financial Advisors Ltd. (CFAL). He has more than 35 years of experience in financial services and investments.
Mr. Maura Jr. is the Regional Director of the Americas for Global Port Holdings Ltd. and has been the CEO & General Manager of Nassau Cruise Port since 2021. Most recently he served as President & CEO of APD Limited, the owner operator of the Nassau Container Port.
Mr. Satterfield is Chairman of Market Access Asset Management Limited, a UK-based investment management company. Prior to this, Mr. Satterfield co-founded Tradepipe, an electronic execution platform which was sold to Lehman Brothers. He also co-founded EBA Investments (Hong Kong) where he managed US$ 20 Billion in real estate and real estate related securities. Mr. Satterfield served in the United States Navy for six years as a nuclear submarine repairman and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and received an Honorable Discharge in 1997.
